Pakistan Public Works Department has released a Tender Notice in Date of 9^th April 2021 in different Daily Newspapers of Pakistan.

Tender Notice

Sealed tenders are invited from the approved contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council under relevant category, on percentage rates basis on Pak PWD Schedule of Rates 2012 and Market Rates who possess valid renewal with PEC up to 30-06-2021.

 

Tender documents can be received in the office of the undersigned during office hours on any working day up to 02-06-2021, with written request on original letter head accompanied with attested copy of CNIC, Income tax Registration Certificate as active taxpayer (Filer), and copy of valid registration of Pakistan Engineering Council under relevant category.

 

Tenders will be issued to the proprietors of the firms / company or their legally authorized representatives having registered power of attorney dully attested. The tenders in sealed cover should be dropped in the tender box kept in the office of undersigned on 03-06-2021 up to 12:00 P.M.

 

The respective tenders will be opened on the same day at 01:00 P.M. in the presence of firms / contractors / parties or their authorized councils, having registered Power of Attorney. Other terms & conditions can be seen in the office of the undersigned during office hours are mentioned in tender documents.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS.

 

1). It should be noted that tender will not be issued on tenders opening day and in case of public holiday, the receipt and opening of tenders will be the next working day.

 

2). any tender will not be issued through telegraph, post or E-Mail.

 

3). According to PPRA Rule-25, Bid Security @ 4% of bid price is required at the time of submission of the tender in the shape of bank instrument from the firm / the company's owned account from any Scheduled Bank of Pakistan in the name of the Executive Engineer, Central Civil Division, Pak PWD, Jhang.

No tender will be entertained without bid security @ 4% of bid price or less amount.

 

4). Tender can be purchased on the prescribed cost (non-refundable) in the shape of Pay order mentioned against the below noted work from the office of the undersigned during office hours up to 12:00 PM before the date of opening of tenders.

 

5). Cost of Tender in the shape of Pay order amounting to Rs.5000/- must be attached with the Application at the time of application submission otherwise the application will not be entertained.

 

6). The interested parties also can download / get Tender Notice at PPRA Website (www.ppra.org.pk).

 

7). Under rule 33(1) of Public Procurement Rules, 2004, the undersigned reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of bid or proposal.

 

8). If the bid amount of successful bidder is un-balance relation to the detail estimate, bidder shall have to furnish performance security equal to the difference of estimated cost and total bid amount in the shape of the bank guarantee dully issued by any schedule bank in Pakistan.

 

9). The submission of tenders by the contractor implies that he is fully conversant with the site of work, scope of work and terms and conditions as laid down in the tender documents.

2^nd Schedule: - Tenders will be sold up to: 11-06-2021 and opened on 14-06-2021 up to 12:00 P.M. & at 01:00 P.M respectively. While other Terms & Conditions will remain same.
